When you sell your place at the beach you want to get the best price possible! Fair enough - we want that for you too. Here's the thing a lot of people leave a lot of money on the table when they are negotiating a deal. So you don't leave money on the table we created a quick question and answer session video:
When can you withdraw a counter offer and negotiate on another offer?
You get an offer on your property but it's on exactly what you want so you have your Realtor counter with the terms, price and conditions that you want and you give the buyer 24.hours to get back to you. Great things seem to be going your way.
While you are waiting for the response from the buyer you get a second offer that is better than the first and now you want to negotiate with that buyer instead. But the first buyer is still within the time period you gave them to respond.
Can you withdraw the first offer - even though the time to respond hasn't expired - and work with the second offer?
Yes, you can withdraw any offer or counteroffer at any time before acceptance. Even if it's before the time to respond has expired. Go get the best deal!
When you are ready to sell your place at the beach make sure you hire a Realtor that can find you a good buyer AND give you good advise so you don't leave any money on the table.
